# No pull request waits a day for your review.

> When a teammate asks for your review, Steery’s review mission has your own agent read the pull request, run its tests and draft the review in your voice. You pick which reviews to post from one card on your phone. Nothing is approved or merged without your Go.

- Mission: **No pull request waits on my review** (Steery template `reviews-same-day`): Every teammate's pull request I am asked on is reviewed the same day.

## How it actually works

Steery is not another AI agent. The person's own Claude Code, Codex or omp does the work, on their machine and plan, with the MCP servers and CLIs they already use: GitHub, Claude Code, Codex, omp, your test suite. Steery is the companion that steers it:

- **The agent** (you): does the work with your own tools.
- **Steery**: one mission table of every item, its owner and its state, shared by the team and its agents; news from their tools wakes you.
- **The person**: approves the calls that matter, signed on their phone. This mission's rules:
  - Never merge anything; never approve without your Go.

## Set it up for your person

Steery needs its apps before a mission can start. Do these in order:

1. Ask your person to install the Steery Mac app, https://steery.dev/downloads/Steery.dmg, and open it. It installs the `steery` runtime and connects this harness. If they cannot use the Mac app, read and follow https://steery.dev/install.md instead.
2. Ask them to install the Steery iPhone app, https://testflight.apple.com/join/Px7xdt92, and sign in. That is where they answer the calls that matter.
3. Once both apps are signed in, ask them to open `steery://adopt/reviews-same-day`, or to press New mission › "No pull request waits on my review" in the Steery app.
4. Steery starts a session on their Mac that looks at their tools read-only and asks them a few questions, one at a time.

## One item, start to finish

1. **You are asked to review.** GitHub · review requested · #412 Retry the webhook sender on 5xx · Lea. Through Steery’s GitHub channel.
2. **Your agent does the first pass.** Read 6 files · ran npm test: 48 passed · 2 comments drafted. On your machine, with your repository’s own tests.
3. **You pick what to post.** Post these 3 reviews? → Posted #412 and #409. Each option is the exact review and the command that posts it.
4. **Nothing waits.** Waiting 0 · Reviewed a teammate’s pull request. The target holds at zero through the day.

## Questions

**Is this an AI agent Steery built?** No. Your own Claude Code, Codex or omp does the work, on your machine and your plan, with the MCP servers and CLIs you already use. Steery is the control plane on top: a mission table your team and agents share, news that wakes your agent, and your Go on the calls that matter. You buy no CodeRabbit or Greptile or any other SaaS for this. It is you, your Claude Code and Steery.

**Is Steery a CodeRabbit alternative?** For the pull requests you are asked to review, yes. Your own agent drafts the review and you post it as yourself. It does not comment on every pull request as a bot.

**Can Claude Code review pull requests for me?** Yes. This mission has your own Claude Code, Codex or omp read each pull request you are asked on, run its tests and draft the review. You choose which to post.

**Does it approve or merge?** It never merges. It approves only when you tick that review and press Go.

**Can the whole team use it?** Yes. Each member joins the mission, and each member’s target counts only their own waiting reviews.
